These 7 gods are as follows In Japanese,
Hotei is called Daibosatsu, or the "God of abundance and good health." Hotei is shown as a
Buddhist monk with a big, smiley face and a bulging belly.
Jurojin is the God of Wisdom and Life Span.
He is generally shown as an elderly guy with a long white beard and a wide brimmed hat, who carries a staff with a scroll dangling from it.
There is a belief that if you have faith in Fukurokuju, the god of happiness, fortune, and longevity, you will be blessed with a long and lustrous moustache.
In Hinduism, Bishamonten is the god of warriors and protection against evil.
Bishamonten always wears armour and wields a weapon while doing so.
The goddess of knowledge, art, and beauty, is called Benzaiten.Her attire is of Chinese style,
yet she often plays a flute or biwa (Japanese lute).
Daikokuten - The god of prosperity, business, and trade, Daikokuten, also goes by the
name Daikokuten. To the untrained eye, he appears to be a cheery man with an enormous sack of
money and often depicted with a magic mallet.
The god of fishermen and merchants, Ebisu, is called Ebisu.
